Friday's Top 5 - Best Little Fabric Shops

This has become a very dangerous top 5 this week. I am on a fabric hunt while creating new spring/summer cloths for the family. Both Anna and I have found beautiful fabrics and it has been very inspiring. I love working with Anna on projects! We agree on lots of stuff, but we both have a different eye for color. While I always seem to gravitate toward the fall and jewel colors, Anna keeps things light and bright! It is so helpful to have that other person to help you try something new and maybe think outside the box a little! With that in mind our fabric shops may be a little different as well! We hope that we bring you a great mix of shops to cover whatever your taste!

1. Currently we are on a Amy Butler kick around here. I think it is a combination of spring and the launch of her new "Midwest Modern" line. Fabric Supplies offers a wide range of Amy Butler, Joel Dewberry, Michael Miller. A great shop for a wide range of choices and lots of fun fabrics by top designers!

2. Anna has a fav. little shop right now. Starlitnest offers lovely fabrics, different sized cuts, and a great sale right now with $6.00 a yard ! We love the group sets that you can buy. It is very helpful when shopping online to be able to coordinate fabrics together and sometimes you don't have the time to guess if one fabric will go with another (with kids running around in the background)!

A personal fav. of Anna's is this blue and green grouping of Amy Butlers Midwest Modern fabric!

3. Looking for something a little different? Check out luckyaerufabric and their funky fabrics! She has a great selection of retro prints, Japanese fabrics and fun Alexander Henry. This shop has lots of variety which makes for lots of fun possibilities!

4. Fabric By The Yard is a fantastic shop! There are some really pretty coordinating fabrics! They keep an eye out for what colors and prints are popular for the upcoming season! Lots of fun fabrics to explore! I thought this Michael Miller fabric had a nice pop factor! 5. Our last little shop can be found on Hyena Cart! Wise Sewing Supplies has a great selection of woven and knit fabrics! For those of you with kiddos she does carry fabric from baby nay! She also has a very large selection of woven fabrics and flannel. Lots of fun choices and great prices. Everything is sold by the yard!

I hope that this week's theme is motivating and helps that creativity! If anything we just hope that you enjoy looking at all of the amazing fabrics that are out there! If you know of a great little fabric supplier and would like to share PLEASE do so!!! We are always looking for great fabric and we would love to do another post like this!

Cheers!
